DC Studios Doubles The Teasers Ahead Of Trailer Premiere for Superman

James Gunn and the team at DC Studios have doubled their promotional campaign for the upcoming film based on Jerry Siegel and Joseph Shuster’s Superman. We have entered the Teaser Trailer Part Deux stage, trying to hype up fans even more for the main trailer’s release on Thursday, December 19.

If you recall, we already had a first look at David Corenswet’s Superman in May, and two days ago, when DC Studios released a new motion poster and its first teaser trailer for Superman. But the latest teaser trailer gives fans their first look at Emmy-Award-Winning Actress Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane in the Daily Planet’s Newsroom joined by Jimmy Olsen (Skyler Gisondo), Steve Lombard (Beck Bennett), Cat Grant (Mikaela Hoover), and Ron Troupe (Christopher McDonald).

Gunn also confirmed last week that he was undertaking minor pick-up shoots for the feature after wrapping in July. “We’re doing a day and a half of pickup shots. No scenes. No reshoots. Just a handful of individual shots to enhance the film.” Joining Corenswet will be Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Manhattan, House of Cards) as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult (X-Men First Class, Crossing Swords, The Great) as Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. It will also include Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Ozu (Krypto) and more.

Created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Superman made his heroic debut in Action Comics #1 in June 1938 (Cover Dated June 1938, published on April 18, 1938). Since his debut, Superman has been adapted into numerous forms of merchandise and media such as Television, Films, Radio Serials, Novels, Theater, and Video Games. Superman makes its debut in Theaters on July 11, 2025.
