After a Hellish Brawl with the Perfect Large Numbers, Kinnikuman and the others prepare for Round Two with a new group called the Perfect Origin led by Nemesis. Speaking of Season Two, the newest visual for Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arc teases a showdown between Nemesis and Robin Mask.
But Robin Mask isn’t alone, joining him in this new visual were Warsman, Ramenman, and Brocken Jr of the Justice Chojin! The second season has been confirmed for a release date set for January 12.
While it will stream internationally on Netflix, it will also be airing in part of the Agaru Anime block on CBC, TBS, and 28 other affiliated channels throughout Japan on January 12 at 11:30 p.m. (9:30 a.m. EST).
Kinnikuman Perfect Origin is adapted from the manga’s longest story arc in its revival era, which consisted of 22 volumes and 208 chapters. Kinnikuman was created by the duo, Yudetamago, which consists of Yoshinori Nakai and Takashi Shimada. Yudetamago first launched the iconic Wrestling manga in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979 and ended in 1987, the series would continue its story from the original title with Kinnikuman (2011), a series that is still ongoing and published in Shueisha’s Shū Play News (Weekly Playboy) magazine, with the manga’s 87th volume going on sale on January 4th, 2025.
