The King of Kaiju has a lot to celebrate on his 70th Anniversary, a new sequel to the award-winning film, Godzilla Minus One was announced, and a new Godzilla manga will be published in Akita Shoten’s Young Champion Magazine in 2025.
The biggest merchandise announcement was a new collaboration involving Digimon and a new Godzilla-themed TCG. On the Digimon collaboration, it was teased on Twitter that there would be a new digital monster color digital pet toy to celebrate Godzilla‘s 70th Anniversary. The collaboration is titled Godzilla vs. Digimon. A short trailer was released, revealing Godzilla as Wargreymon.

As for the new TCG, Bushiroad is teaming up with Toho Co. for a brand-new card game involving Godzilla and its 70-year history. The Bushiroad New Year Conference 2025 event will offer more information on January 13.
