START YOUR ENGINE! Toei is celebrating another hero’s 10th anniversary aside from the Super Sentai team, Ressha Sentai ToQger. Toei unveiled a brand-new logo for Kamen Rider Drive’s 10th anniversary and released new information on two new Blu-ray collectible box sets, and new exclusive merchandise that will be available to purchase in Tokyo and Osaka.

Starting the announcement was the reveal of the new 4-volume Blu-ray collection which includes the entire television series and four special episodes, which are available for single volumes priced at 9,900 yen (USD 66.59), or you can purchase the entire collection for 39,600 yen (USD 239.45). Speaking of special episodes, Toei will also be releasing the spin-off collection which will include all five Kamen Rider Drive: Secret Missions, the first episode was originally given to movie-goers who purchased tickets for the film Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Drive & Gaim: Movie War Full Throttle, while the others were released either through Televi-Kun Special DVD or in Televi-Kun magazines in 2015. And finally, the TTFC-Exclusive Miniseries, Drive Saga: Kamen Rider Brain will also be included. This Spin-off collection is priced at 11,000 yen (USD 73.99), while the individual volumes are priced at 3,500 yen (USD 25.90) each. Finally, store-exclusive Kamen Rider Drive merchandise will be available to purchase at the official Kamen Rider Store starting on Friday, October 11. It will be available in both Tokyo and Osaka locations.
Kamen Rider Driver is the sixteenth hero in the Heisei Period and the 29th series in the franchise. The series began on October 5, 2015, succeeding Kamen Rider Gaim. This series would air alongside Super Sentai shows on TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time such as Ressha Sentai ToQger (also celebrating it’s 10th anniversary) and eventually Shuriken Sentai Ninninger. Drive consisted of 48 TV episodes, 7 movies, 11 specials, a manga adaption, novel adaption, and 3 video games.

Six Months have passed since the Global Freeze, a large destructive event caused by the Roidmudes. Shinnosuke Tomari is a former elite police officer in the Metropolitan Police who, after an event that traumatized one of his colleagues, has been “demoted” into the Special Investigations Division, a group that looks into the stranger happenings in the city, particularly the “Heavy Acceleration” events that leave people unable to move that the public has named it the “Slowdown.” When he is chosen by the Drive Driver and Tridoron, Shinnosuke transforms into Kamen Rider Drive and is tasked with battling the Roidmudes who wish to take over the world by eliminating humanity.
