A new trailer for the long-awaited seventh season of Natsume’s Book of Friends, which is set to debut on October 7 at 24:00 JST (effectively October 8 at 0:00) release date in Japan.
New information has been released for the TV anime adaptation of Yuki Midorikawa’s Shojo manga, Natsume’s Book of Friends, which included a new trailer, key visual, opening, and ending theme artists. Hinata Kashiwagi will be performing the opening theme Alca and Toshiki Kondō will perform Komari Warai (Troubled Laugh).
Takahiro Ōmori is returning as chief director at Shuka, and Hideki Ito is returning from the two recent films to direct the new season. Sadayuki Murai is returning to oversee the series scripts. Akira Takata is returning as the character designer, and Makoto Yoshimori is returning to compose the music. NAS is producing the anime. It will debut on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on October 7, and on AT-X on October 8. In Japan, the series will stream on Netflix, d Anime Store, and U-NEXT. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, and India.

Natsume’s Book of Friends made its debut in Hakusensha’s shōjo manga magazine LaLa DX in June 2003, where it ran until April 2008. The series consists of 30 tankobon volumes as of September 2023, Viz Media would later license the manga to publish for English audiences in 2010.
When Reiko was Takashi’s age, she bound the names of demons and spirits in her Book of Friends, enslaving them to her capricious whim. Now Takashi is the owner of the book, and the creatures will do anything to get their names back.
