Nintendo released a new trailer for the upcoming video game title, Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, a special five-minute trailer showing the vast world of Hyrule and showing Zelda’s new abilities.

Speaking of Hyrule, we get a glimpse of certain familiar locations amongst the Castle and Castle Town, even venturing into the different regions that include the Gerudo Desert, Jabul Waters, Eldin Volcano, and Faron Wetlands. New features were introduced, the first one was called Waypoint, which are fast travel points that are only available once the player reaches each location naturally. Horses are available to ride across Hyrule with, but there’s a catch, the horses can be called at any time but you’ll need to unlock the Carrot Echo to have access to this (Yep, we can summon carrots, crazy right?), mechanics from LoZ: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom have also leaped into Echoes of Wisdom, players will be able to mix match ingredients for cooking smoothies, which can cause the smoothies to have different effects. Speaking of effects, Zelda can now dress up in different outfits, where a certain outfit will come with different benefits.

Two of Tri’s abilities were also on display in this trailer, Bind and Reverse Bind. Zelda’s companion will be able to force objects to follow her movements, for example, she will be able to move a large boulder from her path, while the latter will do the exact opposite. Players can force Zelda to mimic the movement of an object, like a bird’s flight or perhaps a creature climbing a tree or wall.

Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom makes its way to the Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024.
