It was the day we were dreading, the final chapter of My Hero Academia was this year’s combined 36th and 37th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on Monday. But don’t feel sad just yet! The publisher announced several big items for the My Hero Academia franchise that fans can look forward to in 2025, including the release window for the final volume.

Three days ago, Shueisha released a brand-new promotional video for My Hero Academia’s 41st Volume, this time, the publisher uploaded another video, this time a special video with the caption “This is the story of how we became the greatest heroes!

My Hero Academia made its debut in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from July 2014 to August 4, 2024. The series has been collected into 40 tankōbon volumes. Viz Media publishes the manga for English audiences and like Shueisha with Manga Plus, Viz Media offers the chapters to read on their app and website. My Hero Academia has inspired an Anime Series adaptation (Available to watch on Crunchyroll), nine OVAs, three manga spin-off titles, three video games, a light novel series, and four anime films (the latest film is in theaters now in Japan, and will debut in the US on October 11).
