San Diego Comic-Con was in full swing and we’re going to be looking at a News Recap of the biggest announcements from the convention.
DC Unveils New Information on The Absolute Universe and Justice League Unlimited

Starting the coverage off with DC, beginning with their Absolute Power Panel, bringing together Comic Creators such as Mark Waid, Nicole Maines, and Dan Mora for what fans can expect in the event’s wake. Discuss how to make an engaging arc where the iconic figures had their powers stripped away, how Amanda Waller made it to where they cannot escape to Space or another dimension, and the deck stacked against our heroes, forcing them to think outside the box. But that wasn’t all, we got another look at the upcoming Absolute Universe (which feels like another attempt at DC’s The New 52, and comparisons to Marvel’s Ultimates Universe Rebirth), where Batman is more of a Chaos Agent, making Superman more “Relevant” to the world today m, and Wonder Woman being “Raised in Hell.” finally, we got our first look at the Absolute Flash, confirming that it will be Wally West taking up the mantle. The creative team for Absolute Flash will be writer Jeff Lemire and artist Nick Robles, and for Absolute Green Lantern it will be writer Al Ewing and artist Jahnoy Lindsay. The team looks to include Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Captain Atom, Black Lightning, Star Sapphire, The Flash, and The Atom. This new title launches on November 27.
