My Hero Academia Manga To End In Five Chapters

Big news coming from Shueisha earlier today during their newest Jump Press video. Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia finally has a confirmed window for the final chapters and the release date, which has been set for August.

My Hero Academia only has five chapters left, and the final chapter will be published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump’s combined 36th and 37th issue, going on sale on August 5. Weeks ago, Horikoshi stated that the manga would continue for a short while, it started its current epilogue run, which started on June 3. My Hero Academia is currently on a two-week break and will return on July 1.

My Hero Academia was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine in July 2014. As of April 2024, the series consists of 40 tankobon volumes, with volume 41 set to go on sale on August 2. Viz Media publishes the manga for English Audiences digitally and in print in North America. Shueisha’s Manga Plus also publishes it digitally for English Audiences. It has also inspired manga spin-offs, a light novel series, a TV Anime that consists of six seasons (currently on its seventh season, available to watch on Crunchyroll), and three animated films, with a fourth film preparing to debut on August 2.
