We’re weeks away from the second season premiere of the TV anime adaptation of Bukimi Miki’s SHY manga. Recently, the staff unveiled a new main promotional video, adding more cast, a new visual, and a July 1 release date.
But that wasn’t all, the new promotional video also offered a brief preview of the new OP theme titled WILLSHINE by the Metal Band, PassCode. Listed below are the new cast members that will be joining this season:

Century– Wataru Hatano (Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, Fairy Tail)
Tokimaru– Hiro Shimono (Ace of Diamond, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, Attack on Titan)


Kwabara– Izumi Kitta (Freezing, Tokyo Ravens, WataMote: No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys’ Fault I’m Not Popular!)
Masaomi Andō directed the series at Studio 8-bit, Kōsaku Taniguchi was the assistant director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi wrote and oversaw the series scripts, Yūichi Tanaka was the series main character designer, and Hinako Tsubakiyama composed the music.
Bukimi Miki’s SHY manga first made its debut in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion Magazine as a One-Shot in January 2017, it would eventually be serialized in the same magazine in August 2019. The manga has been compiled into Twenty-Five tankōbon volumes, which Volume Twenty-Five will go on sale on July 8. Meanwhile, Yen Press licensed and published the manga for English Audiences, Volume Seven goes on sale on July 23. Crunchyroll currently streams the first season.
