It’s coming at the end of the month. Adult Swim is putting Nostalgia into overdrive with its new programming block, Toonami Rewind. The new block will be bringing back three iconic anime titles for a brief two-hour block on Friday Afternoons.

Toonami has been home to popular anime titles since the late 90s such as Ronin Warriors (Legendary Armor Samurai Troopers), Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Zatch Bell. But now, Adult Swim is bringing back three of its popular titles Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, and Naruto for a Friday-Afternoon block.
The Toonami Rewind will air on May 31 at 5 pm (EST), the new block will include older bumpers and “classic Toonami music.” the new Friday Rewind Block will be followed by the traditional Saturday Evening block that has been a staple for Adult Swim since its return in 2012.
Toonami Rewind Lineup:
- 05:00 PM – Sailor Moon (VIZ English Dub version)
- 05:30 PM – Dragon Ball Z Kai
- 06:00 PM – Dragon Ball Z Kai
- 06:30 PM – Naruto
