Kamen Rider Gotchard Heads Into Its Final Season and The Summer Movie With Two New Visuals

We’re getting closer to the end as The Dark King Gigist has finally made his move in the upcoming episode of Kamen Rider Gotchard, but the newest visual for the final season showcases a brand-new form and teases what’s to come in the upcoming Summer Movie.

The recent episode finished off the Legend Edition arc that incorporated several story elements from the two-episode web series, Kamen Rider Gotchard Vs. Kamen Rider Legend, now we’re entering into the final season with a first look at Gotchard’s newest transformation, Kamen Rider Rainbow Gotchard, and Kamen Rider Gotchard Daybreak.

According to the producer for Kamen Rider Gotchard, Yousuke Minato discussed how Houou Kaguya Quartz and the Legend Edition arc would help set up the final season, acknowledging how fans are familiar with how most Rider series usually reach their final season around June and felt it could be troublesome in some ways. But by introducing Kaguya, he wanted to give viewers a way to experience Houtaro Ichinose’s story from a new perspective and how his appearance set up Kamen Rider: THE SUMMER MOVIE/Kamen Rider Gotchard & Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. As Kaguya and his butler leave Gotchard’s world using the Aurora Curtain System, another familiar rider will be making his return in the new movie, Kamen Rider Gotchard Daybreak! Taking on the role of Future Houtaro/Gotchard Daybreak will be DAIGO (Ultraman Saga, Nisekoi: False Love, Invisible), the newest visuals are paired together, making us wonder what roles will both Houtaros play in the Television Series and Movie..

Kamen Rider Gotchard was the 38th entry into the Kamen Rider Franchise and the fifth rider to be in the Reiwa Era, following other riders such as Kamen Rider Zero-One, Kamen Rider Saber, Kamen Rider Revice, and Kamen Rider Geats. The newest episode, The Origin of Chemies! I Understand Now will premiere on Saturday, May 19 on TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time at 9 am JST. And Kamen Rider: THE SUMMER MOVIE/Kamen Rider Gotchard & Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger will debut in theaters on July 26.
