“Mach Full Force!! Go-On Red!” In a new announcement from Toei, we’re seeing the return of the Speed King, Go-On Red ( from Engine Sentai Go-Onger in a surprise guest appearance on the next episode of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger!
The latest promotional teaser for the upcoming episode shows the Boonboomger’s leader Taiya Hando coming across Engine Speedor (voiced by Daisuke Namikawa), who asks Bun Red to take him to his partner! But that’s not all, our heroes find themselves taking on a new threat from the Great Space Invasion Running Team Hashiryan called a Geta Grumer! Speaking of the Hasiryan, these new Kurumaju were modified by Modification Captain, Cannonborg (voiced by Kujira)!

It was confirmed that Yasuhisa Furuhara would return for the role of Go-On Red. In the Bakuage Topic Column for Episode Twelve offered two fun facts for the upcoming episode. The first fact was the director of Boonboomger, Katsuya Watanabe served as the director of the pilot episode of Engine Sentai Go-Onger, while writer Kenji Konuta also wrote several episodes of the Go-Onger series.
Engine Sentai Go-Onger was the 32nd Entry into the Super Sentai Franchise and the 20th entry in the Heisei Era. The series debuted in February 2008 and ended in February 2009, passing the baton to Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger was the 48th entry into the Super Sentai Franchise, Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger is the Fifth Sentai Team in the Reiwa Era. The Go-Onger Crossover episode will premiere on May 19 at 9:30 am JST on TV Asahi’s Super Hero Time Line-up.
