Fans of the Persona video game series has plenty to celebrate today, Persona 3 Reload has officially become the fastest-selling video game in Atlus history with more than one million copies sold in its first week.
Truly a incredible feat for this beloved PlayStation 2 video game, putting it in the ranks of Persona 5 Royal and its other spin-off titles, which also include another fan favorite series, Shin Megami Tensei.
According to IGN, Atlus isn’t the only one that is breaking new records, its parent company SEGA had a strong start for 2024. Joining Persona 3 Reload’s record breaking sales was Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which also achieved the same number of sales after a week and became the fastest-selling selling game in franchise history.
Persona 3 Reload featured a brand-new take on the original game, featuring updated graphics, new voice acting. It is available now for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X and S, and PC.
