With the new Video Game preparing to launch, the Suicide Squad is preparing for another adventure in SUICIDE SQUAD: ISEKAI. Recently, a new livestream event premiered on Warner Bros. Japan’s YouTube Channel, announcing the main cast and a brand-new trailer reveal.
In addition to the new announcement, rock musician Tomoyasu Hotei (Transformers, Kill Bill Vol.1, Lupin the 3rd Live-Action Film) will be performing the opening theme song titled Another World.
Cast:
- Harley Quinn– Anna Nagase (Jujutsu Kaisen, Summer Time Rendering, You0 DECO)
- The Joker– Yuichiro Umehara (Tokyo Mew Mew New, Goblin Slayer, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War)
- Deadshot– Reigo Yamaguchi (Tawawa on Monday, Selection Project, The Eminence in Shadow)
- Peacemaker– Takehito Koyasu (Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion, Initial D: Second Stage, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure)
- Clayface– Jun Fukuyama (Assassination Classroom, Ressha Sentai ToQger, Black Clover)
- King Shark– Subaru Kimura (Kamen Rider Revice, Doraemon, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger)
Eri Osoda will be directing the anime at WIT Studio with the writing team of Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara handling the script. Original character designs will be handled by Akira Amano, and character designs adapted for animation by Naoto Hosoda, with music by Kenichiro Suehiro. The series will be released in 2024.
