September 13th was officially declared Kaixa Day (named after Kaixa’s transformation code 913), and what better way to celebrate it than by announcing new updates for Kamen Rider FAIZ’s 20th Anniversary film: Kamen Rider FAIZ: Paradise Regained.
In a new announcement that was accompanied by a new visual, Kamen Rider Kaixa will have a brand-new form titled Next Kaixa, which will have dual swords. The Kaixa gear was the third gear developed by SMART BRAIN Corporation, it was more powerful than the FAIZ gear but slower.
The upcoming project will feature the return of Kento Handa as Takumi, Yuria Haga as Mari, and Kohei Murakami as Kusaka. Also, the new film will feature an upgraded Faiz Suit, the Auto Vajin, and the return of the Wolf Orphnoch. Two Tokusatsu Creative veterans make their return for the anniversary project. Ryuta Tasaki will be directing the film, and Toshiki Inoue will handle the script. Kamen Rider Faiz: Paradise Regained will serve as a sequel to the original series, taking place twenty years after the TV Series Finale. It will premiere in Japanese theaters for a limited-time screening as part of the V-CINEXT Promotion and on DVD/Blu-Ray in 2024. Shotaro Ishinomori has also been included in the credits as The Series’ Original Creator. Special Pre-Order Items for Kamen Rider FAIZ: Paradise Regained were also revealed.
Kamen Rider Faiz (Kamen Rider 555) is the seventeenth installment in the Kamen Rider Series and is the fourth entry in the Heisei Era. The series premiered on January 23rd, 2003, and ended its 50-episode Run on January 18th, 2004.
