It has been four years since we interviewed Jay Hero, the owner of Hero Nation. Today’s newest article focuses on the studio’s newest goal, to raise money for his first appearance at Motor City Comic-Con!
According to Jay Hero, he reached one of his main goals for Motor City Comic Con as a vendor, but he is also looking to raise funds to help with purchasing signage and the funds for printing costs for prints. If you’re not familiar with his work, he has worked with publishers such as DC, Image, and Milestone Media.

If you’re interested in helping Hero reach his goal, you can check out their work listed below, donate to his Ko-Fi, purchase a commission, or print. Jay Hero has a new story that will be featured in a Black LGBTQ+ fantasy anthology called We Belong and will be published by Prism Comics this December. Their story is titled Star Wielder. Be sure to visit his table at Motor City Comic Con, which takes place November 10th-November 12th.
