It was the 10th Anniversary of Aiya Kyu’s Original Novel Series The Rising of The Shield Hero, and MF Books celebrated the Shield Hero by revealing a new trailer for the TV Anime’s third season.
The newest trailer shows Naofumi and his party preparing to go undercover to search for the missing heroes and investigate the conflicts that have arisen in the aftermath of the Spirit Tortoise Battle. But it also revealed the newest opening theme from MADKID titled SIN, with Chiai Fujikawa singing the ending theme titled “Suki ni Natte wa Ikenai Riyū” (The Reason I Cannot Love You).
MF Books also revealed a new illustration made by the illustrator of the original novel artist, Seira Minami, and artwork made by Ozaku, the acclaimed master of traditional Japanese Sumi-e painting. The artwork made by Ozaku will be featured on merchandise and will be available to buy in Kadokawa’s store.


The third season is scheduled to premiere in October 2023 and will be streamed on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan. The new staff list has also been released:
