BANDAI Previews New Kamen Rider Gotchard DX Gotchard Driver

With the premiere of the double-billed films consisting of Kamen Rider Geats: 4 Aces and The Black Fox, and Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger: Adventure Heaven happening this weekend, it was Bandai looking to capitalize on not only the Kamen Rider film premiere but to promote the debut of Kamen Rider Gotchard with the reveal of the DX Gotchard Driver.

It was certainly a surprise to see a brand-new video to provide a first look at the new Gotchard Driver. For those who aren’t familiar, Kamen Rider Gotchard was teased with an early bird appearance in the new Kamen Rider Geats Film.

In the new video, Bandai showcased the latest henshin device, which operates by scanning Chemy Cards, placing both cards in the Driver Slots to activate not only new forms but weapons and powers. According to their official website, Bandai Japan will be offering the henshin device both separately, one that will come with a DX Gotchard Driver, and the Gotchardraw Holder. Also, you can collect the Chemie Trading Cards and listen to over 50 different transformation sounds.

Also, a special promotion was included in the announcement, buy either the DX GOTCHARD Driver Set or the DX GOTCHARD Driver & GOTCHARDRAW Holder and a DX Oneness Raise Buckle to get a special Rider Chemy Card. All of these items will be available on September 2nd, 2023. Kamen Rider Gotchard will premiere on September 3rd on TV Asahi’s SUPERHERO TIME block alongside Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger at 9 am JST.
