The SAG-AFTRA Chief Negotiator Clarifies How Fans Can Both Cosplay, and Support the Strike

With the strikes that are currently ongoing, SAG-AFTRA’s national executive director and chief negotiator, Duncan Crabtree-Ireland was onhand at a panel called AI In Entertainment: The Performers Persepctive, the executive director answered a question from a fan who asked what fans could do to help support the strike amid conflicting information as to whether or not it’s acceptable to cosplay characters from struck work. While SAG-AFTRA has endeavored to share clear guidelines for who can do what, many who are supportive of the strikes are concerned about inadvertently crossing picket lines. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and Dead City have both been renewed for a Second Season

The Walking Dead Fans are feasting well this weekend. First, AMC has announced that not only the new title for Rick Grimes and Michonne’s new film (The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live) that will premiere next year but The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon and Dead City have both been confirmed to get a second season. Dead City has already premiered last month (The premise of the series focuses on Maggie and Negan as they venture through a post-apocalyptic New York City as they look for Maggie’s son Herschel.) It will be Daryl’s new series that will have fans buzzing over it. Daryl finds himself in France as he looks for a way back home. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is set to premiere on September 10th on AMC and AMC +.

Nickelodeon Acquires The Rights for The 1987 TMNT Animated Series

During the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem panel, Kevin Eastman announced that Paramount and Nickelodeon acquired the rights for the original 1987 animated television series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which consisted of 193 episodes and ran from 1987 to 1996. According to IGN, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is slated to debut digitally later this month in the U.S. followed by Nickelodeon branded channels and digital platforms internationally.

Next up, Marvel announced several new projects that range from new projects involving the X-Men, the return of the Superior Spider-Man, and the return of Comic Creators such as Rob Liefeld and Greg Capullo, let’s look at what was teased!

New Details Emerge About Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Making its debut at SDCC was the new story trailer for Insomniac Games and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The story takes place 9 to 10 months after the events of Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The trailer also gave us a better look at Venom and teases other characters such as Kraven the Hunter, Harry Osborn, and Mister Negative. The game will launch exclusively on Sony’s Playstation 5 on October 20th, and pre-orders are available on July 28th for the limited edition console.

Keith David Joins the Cast Of Mattel and Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revolution

It was announced recently that actor Keith David (Gargoyles, Spawn, and Disney’s Princess and The Frog) will be joining the cast of Mattel and Netflix’s Masters of the Universe: Revolution as Hordak. David will be joining the cast which consists of Meg Foster as Motherboard, Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Chris Wood as He-Man, Melissa Benoist as Teela, and William Shatner in a mystery role. Currently, Masters of The Universe: Revolution does not have a release date, but its other series, Masters of the Universe: Revelation is available now on Netflix.

Harley Quinn Season Four Gets A New Trailer Ahead of Upcoming Premiere

It’s five days away from another wacky adventure involving Harley and her crew in Season Four of Harley Quinn. DC and MAX released a new trailer ahead of its premiere on July 27th.

Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau Finally Meet In The Marvels New Trailer

We’re finally getting some answers about what happened at the end of Ms. Marvel! Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), and Monica Rambrau (Teyonah Parris) must team up to save the galaxy from a new threat in the upcoming new film, The Marvels, set to premiere in theaters on November 10th.
