Alright, Illumination and Nintendo aren’t KITTEN around for the latest Super Mario Bros. Movie TV Spot. As you recall, in the first trailer, Donkey Kong and Mario were about to throw down in the Collusieum, with the plumber’s pride on the line. Now, we are getting a chance to see another power-up brought to life, the Lucky Bell!
Earlier today, Illumination released a brand-new TV-Spot for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Film, and we get to see more of Seth Rogen’s take on Donkey Kong. As for Mario, he has donned the catsuit, which was introduced in 2013’s Super Mario 3D World.

The newest spot premiered during today’s NFC Championship game. It was the Purrfect opportunity to hear Donkey Kong telling his one-time nemesis, “You got the Cat Box! I’m sorry” and then getting serious, “Now, You Die.” The Super Mario Bros. Movie is set to debut on April 7th, 2023.
While working underground to fix a water main, Brooklyn plumbers Mario (Chris Pratt; Jurassic World and The LEGO Movie franchises) and brother Luigi (Charlie Day; It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) are transported down a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But when the brothers are separated, Mario embarks on an epic quest to find Luigi.
