Shin Ultraman gets a Worldwide Release, Set for May 13th, 2022
In March, Shin Ultraman was delayed due to COVID-19 but now it’s getting another chance in theaters worldwide, announced during the Tsuburaya Con Special that Shin Ultraman will be released on May 13th, 2022. The movie is being produced by Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideaki Anno. Shinji Higuchi, who directed the Attack on Titan live-action films, is helming Shin Ultraman. Both men also directed 2016’s Shin Godzilla.

Netflix and Tsubaraya Production’s series, Ultraman has proven to be one of its popular shows, Nominated for Best Direction in the TV/Media Category at the 47th Annie Awards, the series took Grand Prize for best CG Animated TV/Streaming Show at the VFX-JAPAN Awards 2020.
It has been confirmed that its Second Season will premiere in April 2022. In September, we got a glimpse of the Six Legendary Ultra-Brothers ULTRAMAN, SEVEN, ACE, ZOFFY, JACK, TARO. Now, the villain has been announced and it is one of Ultraman’s greatest foes, Alien Pedant! Voice actor Junichi Suwabe will be joining the cast for Season Two to voice Pedant, The leader of Dark Star, an alien terrorist group responsible for causing and throwing the world into perpetual fear. The group threatens to continue its campaign of terror unless its harrowing demands are met: the disappearance of half of the land on Earth, or the extinction of half of the world’s population. Junichi commented on this news mentioning:
