Today, Netflix and Mattel offered a new look at the newest animated series in the He-Man Franchise, Masters of the Universe: Revelations. Recently, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power’s animated series ended after five seasons, now it’s Prince Adam and the amazing world of Eternia that are coming back in full force with a Live-Action Movie, a CG Animated Series (That one is targetted for kids, however.)
Handling the animation production is Powerhouse Animation, known for its past works Blood of Zeus and Castlevania (just an FYI, the fourth season just premiered today on Netflix!) And it is from the mind of Executive Producer Kevin Smith, who recently had an interview with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the new series, calling it a “love letter” to the fans who grew up with the iconic toy line and classic television series. The series is split into two parts, the first one premiering on July 23rd, Smith stated since it is a Sequel series that the main mythos has remained intact.
