We witnessed the “Rise of Ultraman,” now it is time to witness what he can do in Marvel and Tsuburaya Productions’ newest part of the Ultraman Mythology, “Trials of Ultraman.”
It was first announced in December 2020 that Ultraman would be continuing its fight against the Kaiju in Marvel’s and Tsuburaya Productions’ collaboration, coming along for the ride is Writer Kyle Higgins, Mat Groom, and Artist Francesco Manna. According to Marvel, the story picks back up after Ultraman’s battle with Bemular, a ruthless reptile-like kaiju. Ultraman saved the world but realizes that there are immediate consequences for its actions. Now Earth’s Greatest Defender faces new challenges such as contending with a suspicious population, new hidden enemies, and the return of a long-thought lost comrade! While Marvel has not only an exclusive sneak peek at the first issue (also including an interview with both writers Higgins and Groom,) let’s look at what you could be picking up when Trials of Ultraman comes to your shop on March 17th, 2021!
