Hello everyone, I bring you an exciting new update and an announcement. I have mentioned this previously in This Week In The Nerd Fandom, our Patreon Page has been relaunched, and there is a first exclusive review for it.
For those who aren’t aware, recently I haven’t been able to access the Facebook Page or Tumblr due to an offline issue that is in the process of being fixed, and still raising the money on our Ko-Fi Page for a new phone that was being used mainly for Business.
The new announcement is that our Patreon page had a poll regarding what Comic Book Series to review as The First Exclusive and thanks to one lucky voter, we chose to review IDW Publishing’s Sonic The Hedgehog Comic Book Series, starting with the first volume.
It was the third licensed comic book iteration based on SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog Video Game Series, after Fleetway Publication’s Sonic the Comic, and Archie Comics’ Sonic The Hedgehog. There are currently 60 Issues (which include the main issues, and Annuals), 4 Spin-Off Titles, 11 One-Shot Titles, and a Special Deluxe Edition of Sonic The Hedgehog’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. Since its debut, it has been a popular series to follow, bringing in more fan art, Fan Dubs, and a lot of conversations on Social Media. Since we are reviewing the IDW Sonic Series, I chose to start with the beginning of Volume One titled Fallout! It collects Issues One Through Four and is available now, where ever books are sold. Another devious plot foiled by Sonic the Hedgehog and The Resistance, Sonic’s Work isn’t done yet! In the aftermath of another out-of-this-world battle, rogue robots continue to attack small villages around the world. Sonic realizes that he cannot do this alone, so he enlists the help of his friends, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles, along with new allies joining the fight! One of the biggest mysteries is, What Happened to Doctor Eggman? Why hasn’t he claimed responsibility for the latest attack?
