Junji Ito wins big at the 2021 Eisner Awards for Remina and Venus in the Blind Spot!
In June, the nominees for Eisner Awards were announced and we had Tatsuya Endo’s Spy X Family Volumes One Through Three is on the list, Junji Ito made it on the list with two nominations this time, with Remina and for Best Artist and Writer for both Remina and Venus in the Blind Spot. If you recall in 2019, Junji Ito won in the “Best Adaption from Another Medium” category for his adaption of the classic horror story written by Mary Shelly called Frankenstein.
Tonight, Viz Media announced on Social Media that Junji Ito has won Big at this year’s Eisner Awards, winning for Best Artist and Writer for both Remina and Venus in the Blind Spot and Best U.S. Edition of International Material—Asia for Remina. A Big Congratulations to Junji Ito for his award wins!
