If you’re one of the many anime fans that have been begging and pleading for Part Six of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure to be adapted into an Anime, then I have something to tell you! During today’s “Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure the Animation Special Event~ JOESTAR Inherited Soul” Livestream event revealed that Hirohiko Araki’s Jojo Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean Manga is getting an Anime Adaption, starring Ai Fairouz as Jolyne.
Ai Fairouz commented on being cast the role of Jolyne, this what she had to say:
“I cannot live without the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series, and it is also what inspired me to take on voice-acting as a profession. So when I heard that I was going to be able to participate in the series, I was lost for words and surprised that “Even a Stand would be blown to the moon.”
I cried so much as it was literally the moment my dream came true, which I have chased over for 12 years. I love and admire Jolyne as a character and her beautiful, strong nature gave me strength especially during my student years, so I am grateful for the opportunity to voice Jolyne.“Ai Fairouz
As mentioned before, it is the sixth part of Araki’s Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which takes place in the year 2011, Ten Years after Vento Aureo (Golden Wind), focuses on Jolyne Cujo, who is the daughter of Stardust Crusaders Protagonist Jotaro Kujo. Jolyne is framed for murder and thrown into Prison, what she doesn’t realize is that she’ll have to go face to face with a former follower of DIO! The Manga ran from 1999 to 2003, consisting of 17 Tankōbon Volumes.
