Bofuri: I Don’t Want To Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense Episodes One through Five Review
Our latest review will find us in the newest anime that is adapted by the light novel called Bofuri: I Don’t Want To Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Defense. The light novel series was written by Yuumikan and illustrated by Koin, about a girl named Kaede Honjō who was urged by her friend to play a VRMMORPG game called “New World Online“, unlike many Isekai or MMO protagonists (it is a similar subject I was talking about in another anime I recently reviewed,) and we see that this girl is getting into video gaming in another way and taking it into a different perspective than you would normally be used to (referring to MMO shows such as SAO, Overlord and of course Isekai shows such as Re: Zero, The Rising of the Shield Hero.)

As far as CGI goes, it isn’t too overly used in this anime, Silver link does a great job on the animation; if you’re not familiar with this company, they have produced several well-known Anime such as Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, Restaurant to Another World, and Wise Man’s Grandchild. The linework is smooth, the action scenes are nicely choreographed and as I mentioned earlier regarding the CGI, most scenes that are used in several scenes such as in battles whether it was in the Bird Battle, The PVP events from Episodes two through 5. If you’re a fan of slice of life, Comedies and of course, Isekai then I would recommend this for you.
