Here we are, continuing on from our last review and this time it has our favorite Brother and Sister Duo meeting the Top Demon Slayers and their Leader. I’ll be honest with you all, it was another one of those anime moments of “How weird can we make these Captains?” Without further ado, let’s get started with this review.
We began our tale with where it left off the last time, at the presence of the most powerful Slayers of the Demon Slayer Corps. We get a glimpse of their leader Kagaya Ubyashiki and then the input of each Slayer opinions on what to do with Tanjiro and his Sister Nezuko; some feel remorse and of course, wanting their demise. But with each Pillar they represent, they also represent the element or style they use in terms of emotional and physical presence. Their introductions were similar to Bleach’s Gotei 13, but overall it was Sanemi that got a lot of the fans blood boiling due to his actions of stabbing Nezuko while she was inside the box and then slashing his arm open to prove the young demon is a threat to Tanjiro and humankind. But as the episodes progress so does the story as we have seen The Brother pledge his loyalty for his Corps and then seeing Zenitsu and Inosuke recovering put his mind at ease and to prepare for his new task at hand. These two episodes had good humor but also gave us a sense of what to expect in the next few episodes and hopefully for another season.
